About the Role

The Behavior Clinician works one on one with individuals who may be experiencing or are likely to experience challenges accessing, and actively participating in the community as a result of behavioral, social, or emotional challenges.

Paladin services multiple counties across Northwest Indiana and is rapidly growing. Positions are available in many counties. The Behavior Clinician would work in their county of residence and surrounding areas of their choice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Develop Support Plans
    • Conduct thorough assessments of behavioral strengths and needs of individuals served
    • Develop and implement behavior support plans tailored to individual needs
  • Provide Training and Support
    • Provide staff training on behavior support plans
    • Make periodic visits to the home, community, and/or place of work to ensure effective implementation of support plans
  • Coordinate Services
    • Work with a variety of individuals and agencies to effectively and efficiently coordinate services
    • Attend individual service team meetings to ensure seamless coordination of care
  • Document and Maintain Records
    • Maintain required documentation of assessments, support plans, and service coordination
Requirements

This position must qualify as a Level 2 Clinician defined by the Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Behavioral Support Services.

Requirements include:

  • A Master's degree in one of the following areas:
    • Clinical psychology
    • Counseling psychology
    • School psychology
    • Other applied health service area of psychology
  • A Level 2 Clinician may also be:
    • A licensed marriage and family therapist under IC
    • A licensed clinical social worker under IC
    • A licensed mental health counselor under IC
