Job Summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an experienced Incineration Blends Chemist to join our team in Kimball, NE. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and executing the high-temperature destruction of hazardous and non-hazardous materials through our industrial incinerator.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production plans to ensure successful achievement of production goals
  • Directly oversee the scheduling of waste materials into the facility
  • Develop sequences for the Operations Manager(s) and/or Supervisors
  • Complete all required paperwork associated with tracking the waste
  • Ensure all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines and compliance parameters
  • Responsible for problem-solving when results fall outside of mandated specifications
  • Responsible for month-end inventory reconciliation and management
  • Work closely with plant management to implement operational improvement strategies to maximize efficiencies throughout the unit
Requirements
  • 3 years of industrial operations experience preferred - willing to train recent College Grads
  • 4-year Chemical Engineering Bachelor's Degree (B.S) in a science-related field required
  • Computer skills and proficiency with office applications (i.e. MS Excel and Outlook)
  • Advanced chemical knowledge required
  • Flexibility to work rotating shift(s) including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Valid US DL- required
