Clean Harbors in Kimball, NE is expanding its operations with a new Incineration unit and is looking for several Laboratory Chemists I-IV. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct analyses of samples to ascertain their chemical and physical characteristics utilizing chromatography and spectroscopy methodologies. We are seeking individuals who prioritize safety in their work environment.
Compensation: NEW wage structure ranging from $24.50 to $40 per hour, with weekly pay and overtime opportunities based on experience.

- Conduct sample analyses using various analytical instruments including GC, GCMS, and ICP.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on laboratory equipment as necessary.
- Manage waste produced from analytical processes responsibly.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry is mandatory.
- Focus on Environmental Chemistry is preferred; Pharma and BioMed backgrounds are not suitable.
- Previous laboratory experience is essential.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills are required.
- Proficiency in computer applications is necessary.
- Ability to document, record, and analyze data effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends when required.
- A valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
