We are seeking a dedicated Receiving Chemist to join our team at our new Incineration unit in Kimball, NE.
In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of incoming waste materials. Your responsibilities will encompass drum receiving, lab pack coding operations, and general warehouse duties.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety practices, policies, and procedures.
- Analyze incoming drums through sampling and basic testing procedures, following established protocols.
- Utilize lab instrumentation for accurate analysis and maintain calibration records.
- Complete all necessary paperwork related to waste analysis and drum sampling, ensuring compliance with quality assurance/quality control guidelines.
- Properly manage waste generated from testing procedures.
- Accurately code drums and assign appropriate labels or profiles based on waste characteristics.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the Company's Waste Information Network (WIN) system for receiving, routing, and billing of drums.
- Operate a forklift to safely transfer drums within the warehouse.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of college-level Chemistry coursework is highly preferred.
- Associate's Degree, Vocational, or Trade School completion is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Windows-based computer applications.
- Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, backhoes, track hoes, skid steers, front-end loaders, excavators, dozers, rollers, or winch trucks is preferred.
- Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Valid US Driver's License required.
