About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pump Service Coordinator to join our team at DXP Enterprises. As a key member of our industrial solutions team, you will be responsible for coordinating the repair and maintenance of pumps and other rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate the repair process for incoming work by logging repairs in our work process system.
  • Obtain parts lists, drawings, and pricing for equipment in need of service, as well as gather information from vendors.
  • Review open projects daily to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
  • Purchase parts, materials, and outside services for equipment repairs.
  • Organize and control related logistics for all purchase parts and material receipts.
  • Establish new part numbers according to established procedures and purchase repair parts.
  • Coordinate material flow (shipping methods and timing) from vendors.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, coworkers, and customers.
  • Participate in weekly manufacturing meetings.
  • Expedite parts and material delivery when necessary; communicate lead times to Service Center Supervisor.
  • Assist in managing materials and inventory of parts, including returning to vendors when possible, establishing part numbers, labeling parts, and reviewing and restocking inventory bins.
Requirements
  • Experience and aptitude in MS Office programs, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of computerized business systems is desirable.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions from Pump Repair Facility Supervisor or designee.
  • Proactive, confident, self-directed, focused on customer service and project completion.
  • Ability to stay organized, work productively, and efficiently.
  • Pleasant and courteous manner, with the ability to relate well to customers, vendors, Pro-Seal employees, and all groups using the building.
  • Ability to maintain composure in emergency situations.
