Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Restaurant Chef in daily operations and collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu planning and food preparation.
  • Oversee kitchen staff scheduling and monitor their performance to ensure timely task completion.
  • Manage production levels to minimize waste and keep the Chef informed of progress.
  • Implement operational standards and procedures as directed by the Chef, including sanitation practices and food presentation.
  • Ensure all food is prepared according to established quality standards.
  • Engage with Guests to enhance their dining experience.
  • Support other kitchen staff with their daily tasks.
  • Aim to reduce overproduction and unnecessary purchasing.
  • Maintain compliance with health department regulations in food preparation and storage.
  • Foster positive relationships with both Guests and employees.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment in the kitchen.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of four to five years of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.

Work Environment:

  • Work is primarily conducted in the kitchen area, which can be fast-paced and noisy. There may be occasions where you will need to navigate through the casino floor.
  • Employees are frequently required to stand, walk, and lift items up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include the ability to see close, at a distance, and in color.

Native American Preference Policy:

Preference in hiring and employment practices is given to members of the Seminole Tribe and other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet job qualifications.

Employment Process:
