About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Garde Manger Supervisor to join our team at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of cold foods, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present a variety of cold foods, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Verify that all portion sizes, recipes, and quality standards are met by kitchen associates.
  • Collaborate with service personnel and restaurant managers to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Maintain all kitchen equipment in good working order and ensure cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers.
  • Effectively supervise the breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and storage of food.
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and follow proper guidelines.
Requirements
  • No college degree required.
  • At least two years' experience as a line cook, including supervisory experience.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others and lead in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attentive and detail-oriented.
  • Basic math skills with an ability to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions.
