Job Title: Medical Office Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team at Reliable Home Health. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing exceptional support to our clients and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Answer phone calls and greet applicants in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide information and instructions to applicants and other callers, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating client records, and filing documents.
  • Check applicant records for completeness and accuracy, ensuring that all necessary information is up-to-date.
  • Perform other clerical tasks as needed, such as copying documents, refilling printers, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Must have advanced computer skills, including 40 wpm typing speed and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license, as well as valid auto insurance.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
