- Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, requiring every third weekend and alternating holidays.
- Our mission is to provide exceptional care and service to patients during their final journey. A genuine compassion for hospice care is essential for success in this role.
The RN will be responsible for planning and delivering patient care through the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, interventions, implementation, and evaluation. The RN will effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members while upholding professional nursing standards. We are dedicated to providing outstanding care and services to patients at the end of life. A heartfelt commitment to hospice care is crucial for this position.
Qualifications for RN Candidates:
Registered Nurses must be graduates of an accredited nursing program, with an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. A valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio is required, with no board actions. A minimum of two years of acute care nursing experience is preferred.
- Current CPR Certification
- Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPN) is preferred and must be obtained within two years of employment (eligibility requires completion of 500 hours in hospice/palliative experience within the last 12 months).
- Proficient computer skills for accurate documentation of services and care.
- Ability to drive in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License with a safe driving record.
