Job Summary:

The Phlebotomist/EKG Technician is a vital member of our team at Cooper University Hospital, responsible for collecting laboratory specimens and performing EKGs on patients in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect laboratory specimens and perform EKGs on patients in outpatient settings, including off-site locations and nursing homes.
  • Collect laboratory specimens from hospital inpatients.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in phlebotomy/EKG is preferred.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a plus.
  • High School Diploma is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant training is required.
  • PBT (ASCP) certification is highly desirable.
