Sales and Marketing Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team at the Lake Charles Event Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize event sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solicit venue sponsorships, group sales, and special event opportunities
  • Maintain a customer and sponsor database and tracking system
  • Develop and execute marketing functions to maximize effectiveness and achieve ticket sales goals
  • Prepare sponsorship and advertisement proposals as needed
  • Conduct "cold calls", receive referrals, and follow up on all existing clients
  • Handle fulfillment of Sponsorship contracts
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude in all dealings with patrons, promoters, vendors, co-workers, and senior management
Requirements:
  • Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results in a fast-paced environment
  • Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form
  • Be proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ensure that all materials adhere to branding guidelines and are of high quality in terms of resolution, color accuracy, and design
Working Conditions:

The Sales and Marketing Manager will be required to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. The physical requirements include the ability to stand/walk for the duration of shift and the ability to carry and lift according to industry standards.
