Charge Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our Surgical Unit team at Providence St. Mary Medical Center. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our unit, providing exceptional patient care, and leading a team of dedicated nurses.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing, and evaluating patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing team, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and that the unit runs efficiently.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of unit policies and procedures.
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year of nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
