Providence is seeking a skilled Charge Nurse RN to join our team at St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, Washington. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our nursing units, providing exceptional patient care, and leading a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing, and developing individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring that patient care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and families to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse License.
- 1 year of experience as a Charge Nurse or in a leadership role in a healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity.
