Job Overview

Salary: $14-$18 per hour, depending on experience.

The Community Center Programs Coordinator for the City of West Monroe is responsible for the implementation and management of various community initiatives as outlined by the administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with administrative tasks as directed by the Manager.
  • Oversee educational initiatives, ensuring effective delivery, appropriate staffing, and active student engagement.
  • Maintain precise records of all activities to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Facilitate ongoing professional development for mentors and volunteers.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the division.
  • Adhere to grant stipulations and reporting requirements.
  • Provide program oversight in the absence of the Manager.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A college degree with management experience is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and collaborate with diverse groups is necessary.
  • Must be mission-driven and self-motivated while maintaining a positive demeanor.

WORK SCHEDULE

Expect a non-traditional 40+ hour work week with a flexible schedule. The schedule will accommodate the facility's open hours, with adjustments made during special events requiring evening and weekend responsibilities.
