Your Impact- Diagnose and repair complex technical issues using established procedures and protocols.
- Service and maintain designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
- Maintain working knowledge and aptitude of multiple product groups, including basic aspects of troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Meet and exceed customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance.
- Properly maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
- Provide direction to less experienced technicians and support escalated technical and/or customer service-related problem areas.
We're looking for a dedicated individual with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have:
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
- A basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class.
- The ability to travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
- Required to take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter the customers' premises.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
