Customer Care Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Care Specialist to join our team at the City of Corona, CA. As a Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents and businesses, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and effective responses to customer inquiries and concerns via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process customer payments and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of customer service experience required for Customer Care Specialist I; two years of customer service experience required for Customer Care Specialist II.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash transactions.
