Position Overview

Faulkner University is in search of a dedicated professional to take on the role of Admissions Specialist for our Executive and Professional Enrollment division. The individual selected will act as a guide, advisor, and representative of the University's policies to prospective students seeking admission.

This is a full-time position requiring over 40 hours of work per week, extending across a 12-month period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Financial Aid to effectively assist prospective students.
  • Engage in consistent follow-up with potential students, applicants, and those who have not returned; maintain regular contact and update student profiles accordingly.
  • Conduct preliminary evaluations of transfer credits for prospective students; gather necessary documentation for the completion of academic and financial aid files prior to enrollment.
  • Organize and conduct recruitment events as needed.
  • Make outreach calls to businesses and organizations monthly.
  • Meet established recruitment targets for each program based on historical performance.
  • Provide feedback on advertising strategies utilized by Faulkner and competing institutions.
  • Act as a primary contact for students throughout their academic journey; assist students in monitoring their progress toward fulfilling program requirements.
  • Travel as required for recruitment, registration, public relations, and training purposes.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree is preferred; a Bachelor's degree is required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the preferred education level.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Google Workspace.
  • Must be an active member of the church of Christ.
