We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst to contribute to our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring effective management of program costs and schedules within a complex and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Budget and Schedule Preparation:**
- Develop comprehensive budgets and schedules for contract assignments.
- Conduct financial analyses including funding profiles and variance assessments.
2. **Program Planning:**
- Formulate program plans to accurately capture and schedule program requirements and statements of work.
3. **Contract Compliance:**
- Perform analyses and generate reports to ensure adherence to negotiated contract parameters and government cost control standards.
4. **Funding Management:**
- Maintain precise records of expenditures and direct the preparation of funding projections.
- Submit timely requests for additional funding as necessary.
5. **Cost Analysis:**
- Conduct cost analyses to develop Estimate at Completion (EAC) figures and support monthly financial reviews.
- Identify potential pressures and opportunities, formulating recovery plans as needed.
6. **Cost Control Systems:**
- Establish and maintain cost control systems, ensuring incorporation of changes into the Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
7. **Support for Integrated Product Teams:**
- Provide assistance to Cost Management and Business Management teams.
- Aid in Earned Value Management System (EVMS) activities, including WBS alignment and performance measurement.
Qualifications:
- **Education:**
- Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of proven experience in program control, cost planning, or related fields.
- **Experience:**
- Proficient in Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
- Active Secret Clearance with the ability to maintain program access.
- Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Deltek systems such as Cobra and/or MPM.
- Experience with SAP and/or Costpoint.
- Background in supporting DoD financial reporting processes.
- Understanding of Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) and DCMA Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs).
