The Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Change Management Coordinator within the Organizational Engagement and Support (OES) and Change Management team.
This position is situated in the OES and Change Management sector of the Strategic Engagement and Employee Support (SEES) division.
The OES and Change Management Team is committed to enhancing the experience of AES team members by promoting an inclusive and innovative environment that appreciates individual contributions and fosters continuous improvement.
Reporting to the OES Director, the Change Management Coordinator engages in complex consultative and technical responsibilities.
The focus of Change Management is on the human aspect of transitions, providing essential support during significant organizational changes.
This role is crucial in advancing the AES mission by establishing conducive conditions for employees to navigate changes effectively, reducing resistance, and enhancing enthusiasm for new processes and technologies.
The team is tasked with assisting members in adapting to changes impacting our division, including technological advancements, procedural modifications, and organizational restructuring. This is achieved through the application of change management strategies and effective internal communications to prepare, support, and empower employees in embracing change.
The ideal candidate will excel in building relationships and fostering rapport that positively influences perceptions of change, values diversity in effective change management, and is committed to supporting AES team members and stakeholders.
This individual should be open to devising innovative solutions to challenges and understand that the quality of work reflects our commitment to those we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, and resistance management plan (25%)
- Assist in formulating change management strategies based on situational awareness of the change details and impacted groups (15%)
- Support communication initiatives by creating deliverables that convey appropriate messaging to prepare for organizational, process, and/or system changes (15%)
- Develop, implement, and analyze surveys to assess user readiness (10%)
- Coordinate with specialists to gather critical information for change management deliverables (10%)
- Participate in workgroups to aid in project implementation planning (10%)
- Collaborate with Project Management to integrate Change Management activities into project plans (5%)
- Track and report issues (5%)
- Assist with additional duties as required (5%)
