We are seeking a highly motivated Ambassador of Cultural Tourism and Community Partnerships to join our team at Visit Seattle.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in promoting Seattle's creative economy and fostering strong community partnerships. As an Ambassador, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with cultural organizations, visual and performing arts groups, heritage groups, music venues, and artists, among others.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams to develop and execute cultural tourism initiatives, manage project budgets, and prepare regular reports on project performance. Additionally, you will represent Visit Seattle at community events, member meetings, and business group gatherings, sharing updates with the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster strong relationships with cultural stakeholders, including museums, galleries, theaters, and music venues.
  • Develop and implement cultural tourism initiatives, working closely with internal teams.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Prepare regular reports on project performance, visitor engagement, and financial outcomes.
  • Represent Visit Seattle at community events, member meetings, and business group gatherings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in community engagement, partnership development, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Seattle's creative economy, including the local arts and culture sector.
  • Proven experience in promoting and selling programs, events, or memberships, ideally within a community or cultural context.
  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management, Cultural Studies, Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
