Join Our Team as a Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Colby Co. in Portland, Maine. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for our clients, including HVAC systems, industrial systems, plumbing systems, and system controls.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and designers on a wide range of projects. You will have the chance to work on multidisciplinary design teams, collaborating with engineers from other disciplines to deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for our clients, including HVAC systems, industrial systems, plumbing systems, and system controls.
  • Work with our team of engineers and designers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to our projects.
Requirements
  • PE License or ability to sit for PE Exam.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit a Plus.
  • Experience with Trane Trace 700 and/or DOE 2 a plus.
  • Sustainable design experience a plus.
