Optical Sales Professional

Job Summary
As an Optical Sales Professional at Luxottica Retail North America Inc., you will play a key role in creating an exceptional optical experience for our guests. You will be responsible for cultivating existing customer relationships, building new ones, and delivering sales plans and company objectives. Your expertise in optical prescriptions will enable you to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings, while your excellent communication skills will help you assist patients in selecting the perfect vision solution. You will also participate in maintaining a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff. Key Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
- Utilize optical prescription to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
- Assist patients in the selection of frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements.
- Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Optician as needed.
- Actively participate and contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years experience in retail or customer service.
- Familiarity with point of sale system, computers, and calculators with basic phone and math skills.
- Ability to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Self-Motivator with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
