Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for retaining valuable small-to-medium business clients by addressing controllable churn and identifying upselling opportunities. You will assist customers in resolving issues to prevent service disconnections and may offer incentives or credits as needed. Key responsibilities include:
  • Handling customer disconnect inquiries.
  • Conducting follow-up calls to inform clients about referral programs, new offerings, and enhanced packages.
  • Engaging with customers to renew, save, or upgrade their services.
  • Proactively reaching out to clients prior to contract expiration for renewals and upsells.
  • Assessing customer communication needs and troubleshooting service-related issues.
  • Collaborating with sales support to find suitable solutions for installation or service concerns.
  • Referring complex issues to appropriate departments for resolution.
  • Making win-back offers, including credits and discounts.
  • Negotiating penalties with clients as necessary.
  • Promoting bundled services to existing customers.
  • Creating proposals and presentations for additional products and services.
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate pricing structures.
  • Educating clients on product usage, billing, and features.
  • Working with sales support to finalize sales orders.
  • Providing insights and feedback to the marketing team.
Who You Are

You are an empathetic listener dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction. Your qualifications include:

Minimum Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in a relevant field,
  • OR a high school diploma/GED with 3 years of experience in a related field,
  • OR an AS/AA degree, BS/BA degree, or certification in a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in using computers and common business software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AS/AA or technical certification in a related discipline.
  • Experience in business-to-business sales with performance targets.
  • Previous roles focused on customer retention and revenue generation.
  • Familiarity with the communications industry or experience with major communications equipment vendors.

Compensation:

The hourly pay rate is $25.00, with potential variations based on location and candidate experience. This role also includes an annual incentive/commission target of $28,340.00.

Benefits:

Employees receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off each month, along with seven paid holidays. Additional paid time off is available for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteering, military service, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination.
