We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Overnight Direct Care Specialist to join our team at New Horizons Ranch & Center, Inc. As a key member of our residential treatment center, you will provide direct care and support to children, ages 5-17, who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, and attachment issues.
Responsibilities- Provide overnight direct supervision and support to a group of children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Plan, supervise, and assist with nightly activities, including helping children get ready for bed, attending to their nightly needs, and completing household chores as needed.
- Get children up and ready in the morning, and occasionally transport them to school in company-provided vans.
- Maintain a safe, stable, and home-like environment, building healthy relationships with the children in care to support their healing and growth.
- Document and report on children's progress, and complete necessary trainings as required by state licensing.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and tuberculosis test.
- Active Driver's License required.
- Ability to work with diverse populations, possess positive verbal and written communication skills, and work well in a team and independently.
