Direct Care Specialist for Children

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Specialist for Children to join our team at New Horizons Ranch & Center, Inc. This role involves providing direct care and support to meet the daily needs of children, ages 5-17, at our residential treatment center, Audrey Grace House.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise, and assist with daily activities for your assigned group of children, including meals, hygiene, personal possessions, and living spaces.
- Transport children to school, office appointments, recreational, and social activities using company-provided vans.
- Provide a safe, stable, and home-like environment for the children in your care.
- Build healthy relationships with the kids in care to support them as they heal and work through their trauma.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of the children's progress and activities.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Applicants must pass criminal background checks, a drug screening, and a tuberculosis test.
- Active Driver's License required.
- Applicants must have insight and understanding of cultural diversity and the ability to work with diverse populations.
