Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Interpretive Guides and Maintainers at Dinosaur State Park. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the preservation and maintenance of our park's natural and cultural resources.
Responsibilities
- As an Interpretive Guide, you will be responsible for leading educational programs and activities for visitors of all ages, including guided tours, nature walks, and interactive exhibits.
- As a Maintainer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and operation of the park, including litter pickup, cleaning, mowing, raking, and painting.
Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customer service, education, or a related field.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
