We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN to join our team at The Residence at Ferry Park. As a key member of our Resident Care Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities- Promote a positive and supportive environment for residents, families, and colleagues.
- Assist with the evaluation of resident needs and the development of individualized service plans.
- Direct and supervise the daily work assignments of resident care associates.
- Evaluate and address resident issues and medical concerns in collaboration with the ED, family, and MD as needed.
- Encourage teamwork and collaboration among departments to improve services and eliminate problem areas.
- Monitor resident care assistants' compliance with infection control and sharps disposal programs.
- Participate in community marketing efforts and represent LCB Senior Living, LLC in a professional manner.
- Provide support to resident care associates with assignment questions, concerns, and emergency situations.
- Ensure proper staffing and scheduling, including backup coverage for staff, at all times.
- Assist the Resident Care Director with documentation and reporting requirements.
- Administer medications and perform other duties as requested.
- Current RN or LPN license in the state of employment.
- At least two years of experience in a geriatric setting and previous health experience in hospital and/or community settings.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Good physical and mental health, with the ability to lift a minimum of 15 lbs. and perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending.
