Responsibilities
As an Interpretive Guide, you will be responsible for leading educational programs and activities for visitors, including guided tours, lectures, and hands-on activities. You will also assist with program development and implementation, and provide excellent customer service to visitors. As a Maintainer, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, mowing, and painting, as well as operating machinery and equipment. You will also assist with special events and projects as needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong passion for conservation and the outdoors, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment. A background in the natural sciences or education is preferred, but not required. Experience in custodial work, landscaping, or a related skilled trade is also a plus.
