Job Summary:

The Site/Civil Group Manager is responsible for the supervision, administration, planning, and performance of the site/civil group. This includes procuring and executing site/civil projects, developing and executing the group's strategic plan, and leading site/civil work within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • External facing representation of Keller Associates, building relationships with new and existing clients, and sub-consultants.
  • Develop and execute the group's strategic plan in coordination with company leadership.
  • Lead site/civil work within the organization by organizing and coordinating group workload and assignments.
  • Delegate tasks to team members according to their individual skill sets, experience, and abilities to ensure efficient completion of the project.
  • Collaborate with staff supervisors and other Project Managers to coordinate workload.
  • Be responsible for the overall profitability of site/civil projects, ensuring that jobs are conducted within project scope and budget.
  • Lead the development of solutions to complex problems that require a high degree of innovation and ingenuity.
  • Provide technical expertise by formulating and developing advanced design concepts, techniques, and standards.
  • Document and report project progress to company leadership.
  • Manage training, development, and mentorship of site/civil group members.
Requirements:
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team towards shared goals, with a track record of identifying effective solutions, optimizing efficiencies, and allocating resources effectively.
  • Excellent project management and organization skills.
  • Ability to lead contract negotiation and execution.
  • Ability to work successfully with project managers and other discipline leads in multiple disciplines with a range of approaches.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective organizational and analytical skills.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • 6+ years of civil engineering experience related to site/civil design.
  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
