Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing primary and specialty care to patients, conducting physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary and specialty care to patients, including health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Conduct physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Promote healthy lifestyle habits and disease prevention strategies to support patient well-being.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring timely communication with colleagues and specialists as needed.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate strong clinical skills and expertise in nurse practitioner practice.
- Hold current licensure/registration to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential patient information.
- Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
