About the Job
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at El Paso Children's Hospital. This is a full-time, night shift position that requires a high level of critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They will also direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
* Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care
* Implement and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
* Provide education to patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques
* Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and achieve desired outcomes
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes

Requirements
* Current RN license to practice in the State of Texas
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
* Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 6 months of hire
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications
* Bilingual English/Spanish language skills
* Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions

Salary and Benefits
