Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Home Health New Graduate

VNS Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Home Health New Graduate for a nursing job in New Jersey.

About the Role:

The VNS Health Nurse Residency Program is designed to empower recent RN graduates with hands-on clinical experience and training to develop the next generation of expert home care clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in classroom learning activities, including critical thinking, evidence-based best practice assessments, care planning, and evaluation of care.
  • Shadow RNs to gain field experience and review experiences in group debriefs.
  • Practice in the community with a preceptor as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
  • Deliver personalized nursing and care management to patients in their home or care facilities.
  • Constantly evaluate evolving patient needs and respond with plan of care adjustments.
  • Achieve continued professional growth through attendance at in-services, training, continued formal education, and select journal readership.
Requirements:
  • Recently received RN license.
  • Degree in Nursing from an approved program required.
  • No prior work experience in nursing required.
  • Must be able to walk up and down steps to access patient residences.
