About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Electrophysiology team at Children's Health in Dallas, Texas.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in cardiac cath lab or critical care and be certified as a BLS provider. They will also hold a valid TX RN license.

Responsibilities
  • Electrophysiology Ablation Procedures: Participate in electrophysiology ablation procedures and cardiac device implants
  • Cardiac Device Evaluations: Perform cardiac device evaluations in various settings, including outpatient, inpatient, ER, CVICU, and OR
  • Patient Education: Provide education to patients, families, and hospital personnel/fellows regarding procedures and devices function
  • Collaboration with Physicians: Collaborate with physicians and vendor representatives regarding device troubleshooting and programming
  • Remote Transmissions: Evaluate and process remote transmissions from implanted cardiac devices
  • Phone Triage: Handle phone triage for cardiac-related inquiries
  • Database Maintenance: Maintain tracking databases related to the electrophysiology department
