Nursing Innovation Specialist Job Description

Children's Health is seeking a highly skilled Nursing Innovation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for cultivating networks and partnerships across the system to foster nurse empowerment in nursing innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive pediatric nursing innovation program.
  • Collaborate with Nursing Excellence leadership to generate new nursing knowledge through innovation.
  • Develop and measure programmatic outcomes to derive insights and plans to improve and scale innovations.
  • Promote the image of pediatric nursing at Children's Health locally, nationally, and internationally.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of clinical experience or clinical teaching experience.
  • At least 2 years of clinical data analytics, nursing informatics, or nursing innovation experience.
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice or PhD required within 4 years of job acceptance.
