Cardiac Arrhythmia Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Arrhythmia Specialist to join our team at Parkland Health and Hospital System. As a key member of our cardiovascular services, you will be responsible for monitoring patients on telemetry and event monitors, identifying cardiac arrhythmias, and providing critical information to medical staff.

Key Responsibilities- Concurrent monitoring of patients on telemetry and event monitors to identify cardiac arrhythmias.
- Interpreting EKG patterns and providing critical information to medical staff.
- Maintaining records of telemetry procedures and ensuring proper documentation of events.
- Collaborating with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in cardiology through ongoing education and professional development.
- Medical Assistant course or six months experience interpreting EKG rhythm strips.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to interpret EKG rhythm strips during an interview.
- Ability to complete a three-day EKG course or pass a challenge test within a 90-day probationary period.
Parkland Health and Hospital System offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we also offer opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a dynamic and supportive work environment.
