**Job Summary**

    At Baylor Scott & White Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Cardiovascular department, specializing in Thoracic Outlet Syndrome care. This is a fantastic opportunity for an advanced practice provider to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment, delivering exceptional medical care to our patients.


    **Key Responsibilities and Duties**

  •     Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and obtain medical histories to assess patients' physical and mental conditions.
  •     Order, collect, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and other diagnostic tests to assess patient problems and healthcare needs.
  •     Prescribe, recommend, and/or employ medical drug therapies or other forms of related therapeutic treatments and procedures.
  •     Formulate and implement comprehensive outcomes-based patient treatment plans based on patient assessments, evidence-based medicine, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines.
  •     Counsel patients and families regarding medical processes, management of the health illness/condition, medication, nutrition, and health promotion.
  •     Maintain appropriate records detailing the patient's treatment plans and outcomes.


    **Requirements and Qualifications**

  •     Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas.
  •     Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
  •     Certification from an accredited board as an APRN for the patient population of focus required.
  •     RN licensure or RN licensure with compact privilege from a state that is party to the Nurse Licensure Compact for RNs and LVNs & Texas APRN.
