Compensation:
$25 - $35 / hour
The Building Maintenance Technician Level III (MT3) plays a crucial role in executing service requests, conducting preventive maintenance, and performing repairs on the facility and fitness apparatus. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in commercial building trades or building engineering.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute both reactive and preventive maintenance tasks on fitness and facility equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders, generate reports, and adhere to deadlines.
- Operate in both a fixed maintenance setting and a service team environment, addressing concerns across multiple properties within a designated market.
- Engage with the facilities team and other departments daily to manage customer-facing systems effectively.
- Oversee and coordinate work assigned to external contractors.
- Possess knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS).
- Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
- Participate in regularly scheduled meetings.
- High school diploma or GED (Required)
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing trades (Required)
- Familiarity with commercial HVAC systems (Preferred)
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and accountability for assigned properties.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Exceptional communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Willingness to travel between properties as necessary with minimal notice.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly.
- Capability to bend, sit, stand, and access roofs using ladders.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Proficient in computer operations.
- Capacity to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
