Job Summary

DISH Network L.L.C is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Facilities team, you will be responsible for providing facilities-related support for various events and departmental requests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily site inspections of facilities and mechanical equipment to ensure proper operation and condition
  • Perform preventive maintenance to building systems and equipment as assigned
  • Provide a report to the Facilities manager notifying any problems found
  • Perform basic electrical repairs, such as replacing lamps, ballasts, switches, receptacles, cord caps
  • Provide support to engineering projects and installations
  • Assist in office furniture reconfigurations, furniture moves, and office moves as requested
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of related experience with general maintenance procedures such as basic building and grounds preventative maintenance
  • Basic but proven experience with a variety of trades in the maintenance of commercial office space such as the operation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety equipment supporting a 24/7 operation
  • Strong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures typical for maintenance operations
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment with limited resources
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle and obtain a driver's license
Working Conditions:
  • Will be able to sit, stand, crawl, and climb ladders for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Will be able to work in all-weather environments, indoors, and outdoors
  • Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work
