The Implementation Specialist III (Premium Add-On team) plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely implementation of complex engagements.

This position serves as the primary point of contact for all aspects of the implementation process, interfacing with customers, retailers, and internal resources to complete setup.

The Implementation Specialist III manages projects such as new relationships, warehouse setups, trading partner recertification, and new integrated document testing using a formal project management approach.

This position is responsible for delivering on-time projects using TrueCommerce best practices and demonstrates a high level of technical and process acumen within the Implementation Specialist career path.

This role is responsible for assisting Implementation Management with training, mentoring, and process improvements within the implementations add-on team.

This role is hybrid if you are located near our Columbus, OH or Pittsburgh, PA offices; otherwise, it will be remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary contact for a customer implementation and manage multiple projects independently.
  • Manage implementation tasks and coordinate activities with the customer, trading partners, and other implementation team members.
  • Manage customer expectations and project scope.
  • Actively contact and follow-up with customers to drive continuous progress on the completion of their project.
  • Assist the customer with the EDI testing process, including analyzing test results and advising the customer on steps required to fulfill testing requirements.
  • Assist the customer with the integration testing process, including understanding of basic integration functions and BSP mapping changes for assigned ERP packages.
  • Provide timely updates to the customer and team members to ensure all involved parties understand the progress of the project.
  • Keep project status, customer communication, and other key information up-to-date in the TrueCommerce PSA Tool (NetSuite).
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor and train new employees and Implementation Specialist I, II, III on various aspects of the Implementation role, including technical, business, and process training.

Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred; will consider experience in lieu of degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing project tasks and performing work on software implementations.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Prior experience in training customers on application software, including conducting training webinars or one-on-one customer training sessions.
  • Prior experience in configuring and testing software applications, based on customer specifications.
  • General understanding of B2B, commerce, electronic data interchange (EDI), and supply chain processes.
  • Experience with text editing and data mapping tools.
  • Experience with business systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
