Job Title: Correctional Officer

Job Summary:

As a Correctional Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining order and security within our correctional facilities. You will work closely with other officers and staff to ensure the safety and well-being of both inmates and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce rules and regulations within the facility
  • Monitor inmate activities and supervise work assignments
  • Conduct cell checks and searches for contraband
  • Settle disputes and enforce discipline as needed
  • Observe, inspect, and report on safety, sanitary, and fire hazards
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 21 years of age or older
  • United States citizen
  • Meet reading comprehension, report writing, and retention abilities
  • Satisfactorily complete an ODOC background investigation
