About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Surgical Technologist to join our team at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. As a key member of our operating room team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of surgeons and nursing staff during procedures
  • Assist with surgical counts and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in debriefing and quality improvement practices to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or military training equivalency
  • Two years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
  • Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
