JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial and accounting operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. A comprehensive understanding of regulatory and accounting standards is essential to maintain the integrity of financial reporting and compliance.

The CFO will lead various hospital departments, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and values. Responsibilities include:

Financial Management Activities:

  • Strategic Financial Planning
  • Budget Development and Forecasting
  • Revenue Cycle Management
  • Expense Oversight
  • Financial Reporting
  • Regulatory Compliance Reporting
  • Capital Management and Planning

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Management of Business Office and Revenue Cycle
  • Oversight of Facilities, IT, Materials Management, and Case Management

Communication Responsibilities:

The CFO will engage directly with the Hospital Leadership Team, Governing Board, Executive Committee, and senior leaders within the organization.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, Required
  • Master's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Healthcare Administration and CPA, Preferred
  • Recent experience in hospital financial management, Required
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in hospital financial management and revenue cycle, Required
  • Proven management experience across multiple departments, Required
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential
