Job Title: Behavioral Health Associate II

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Associate II to join our team at Turning Point Community Programs. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs in achieving their goals and improving their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist members in identifying and progressing toward achievement of member-chosen goals.
  • Empower members in meeting their goals, providing vocational support, and facilitating communication and cooperation among agencies.
  • Participate in client medication outreach, coordinate communication between doctor, client, and pharmacy, and educate community and other agencies.
  • Drive personal and/or agency vehicle on agency business, including transportation of members to and from appointments and activities, as well as field visits/medication outreach.
  • Provide prompt intervention in the event of a crisis, both to stop the crisis and to notify when indicated, persons and agencies necessary for the resolution of the crisis situation.
  • Carry a caseload of clients, depending on acuity of clients, program/contract requirements, and referrals on record.
  • Maintain all client records and complete required documentation and data entry according to program standards.
  • Assist clients with accessing and maintaining appropriate housing and attend to the safety, health, and well-being of members.
  • Provide after-hours, on-call coverage on a rotational basis based on program needs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience providing direct mental health services preferred.
  • California driver's license and current vehicle insurance/registration required.
  • Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection required.

Schedule: Thursday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
