Job Summary

The Mark Twain Health Care District is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Program Assistant to join our Integrated Behavioral Health team at the Valley Springs Health & Wellness Center.

This part-time position (20 hours per week) requires a strong customer service focus, excellent verbal and written communication skills, good judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate behavioral health visits and services within the primary care setting, ensuring clients receive the treatment they need.
  • Assist with outreach and education, ensuring that clients are made aware of outside resources.
  • Make referrals to other agencies and organizations as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, providers, and staff.
  • Work collaboratively with the Integrated Behavioral Health team to achieve program goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills.
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
  • Experience with Excel is preferred.
