Job Overview

Kearfott Corporation, a leading global Aerospace and Defense supplier, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to provide exceptional customer service and support for assigned programs and product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and manage day-to-day activities related to customer quotes, orders, and shipments to ensure timely delivery and quality.
  • Coordinate customer forecasts, quotations, and order submissions with internal teams and customer contacts to ensure alignment and compliance.
  • Enter and release orders with accurate detail to ensure delivery of products in accordance with customer specifications and standard practices.
  • Track customer orders throughout the production phase to identify and address any delays or design issues that impact quality or delivery.
  • Monitor contracts, agreements, and purchase orders to ensure full compliance with given terms and conditions.
  • Compile and analyze data related to customer orders to create custom reports and facilitate shipments.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with customer contacts to encourage additional sales and opportunities.
  • Maintain complete and accurate files to facilitate internal administration and audits by outside entities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Communications, Supply Chain, Marketing, or other quantitative field of study.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Contract Administration or related field, with demonstrated experience directly associated with government contracting.
  • Military experience highly desired and may also substitute for industry-specific experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US, visa sponsorship not available.
  • Must be able to work on U.S. government programs and/or obtain security clearance in the future.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with new business system implementation.
  • Familiarity with dynamic Excel reports and advanced functions, including PivotTables, macros, task automation, and large datasets.
  • Knowledge of US Government contract administration, including all FAR and DFAR regulations.
  • Experience with contracts, legal terminology, and negotiation.

This position is located at our Black Mountain NC facility. Relocation assistance is not available.
