Under the guidance of our experienced nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and expertise in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessment: Conduct thorough and accurate multi-system assessments of patients, identifying potential health problems and developing individualized care plans.
- Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive nursing plans of care, prioritizing patient needs and coordinating care activities with other healthcare disciplines.
- Implementation: Provide direct patient care, administering medications, performing procedures, and utilizing evidence-based practices to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Evaluation: Continuously evaluate patient responses to treatment, making adjustments to care plans as needed and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Experience: Minimum nine (9) months of RN experience, with one (1) year of recent ICU nursing experience or successful completion of the Kaiser ICU cross-training program.
- Licensure: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided), Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, and NIH Stroke Scale Certificate within 3 months of hire.
- Previous Healthcare Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a critical care environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
- Certifications: CCRN certification and experience with dialysis, SLED, or equivalent.
