Job Summary

Axelon is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to provide direct support to internal and external customers on our portfolio of medical devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical laboratory procedures and a proven ability to analyze complex technical information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries via various channels, analyze complaints, and provide troubleshooting solutions to resolve product issues.
  • Implement and maintain the effectiveness of our Quality System, document complaints in accordance with Quality standards, and recognize trends in product issues and their impact on customers.
  • Review service ticket documentation to identify potential reportable events, such as situations where a medical device may impact the health or safety of the user or patient.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working in a clinical laboratory, with a strong background in in-vitro diagnostic instruments and clinical tests.
  • Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment and ability to assimilate complex technical information.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and in groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to customers and colleagues.
Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a medically-related field, such as biology, nursing, or a related science.
