Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to perform and demonstrate proficiency in one or more areas of the clinical laboratory. As a Medical Technologist at Medical City Las Colinas, you will be responsible for performing chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic procedures, maintaining records of performance, patient results, and quality control, and assisting with laboratory training programs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections
  • Maintain records of performance, patient results, and quality control
  • Maintain equipment, record preventive and remedial maintenance of equipment
  • Assist with laboratory training programs as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or a related field
  • Medical Laboratory Scientist, or Certified Medical Lab, or Certified Lab Technologist, or Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Lab Scientist, or American Medical Technologist certification
  • At least one year of experience in a hospital setting (preferred)
