Key Responsibilities

The Senior Well Technology Analyst at Apache Corporation will be an integral part of the Onshore Production Operations team, reporting directly to the Production Foreman.


This position encompasses the following duties:

  • Oversee and manage the extensive portfolio of SAM POC's within the designated Region.
  • Conduct daily assessments of XPOC or Cygnet systems to detect potential issues and relay critical information to pumpers.
  • Monitor fluid levels consistently.
  • Perform rod design calculations for current sucker rod applications in the Region.
  • Collaborate with the Production Engineer to enhance existing artificial lift systems and design new solutions.
  • Partner with Automation Technicians to ensure optimal success rates in telemetry operations.
Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications is essential.
