Job Summary

The Well Technologist III will be a key member of Apache Corporation's Onshore Production Operations team, reporting to the Production Foreman at the company's Pecos, TX office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain over 100 SAM POCs within the Region.
  • Daily monitoring of XPOC or Cygnet systems to identify potential problems and provide pumper's with that information.
  • Shooting fluid levels.
  • Running rod designs on the current sucker rod applications within the Region.
  • Work with the Production Engineer to optimize current and design future artificial lift.
  • Work with Automation Tech to ensure that good success rate is achieved on telemetry.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • B.S. Degree or Associate Degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years directly related experience.
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft applications and other PC based computer applications.
